Cataract Surgery Provided by Dr. Braverman
Dr. Braverman performs the latest, most advanced treatment for cataracts: small-incision, sutureless cataract surgery with intraocular lens implants (IOLs). During this microsurgical technique, the patient's cataract-damaged natural lens is removed and replaced with an artificial lens. Braverman Eye Center offers AcrySof ReSTOR and Tecnis Multifocal lenses as well as the Crystalens accommodating lens, all of which can restore the patient's ability to focus on both near and far objects following surgery. In addition to cataract surgery, these premium IOLs can be used during presbyopic lensectomy to treat age-related presbyopia (loss of reading vision).
Besides vision correction and eye care services, Braverman Eye Center also offers facial rejuvenation treatments such as Botox, Restylane and Juvederm injections. In addition, Dr. David Tenzel, a fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon, is available to provide cosmetic and reconstructive oculoplastic surgery procedures.

What Do Patients Say About Dr. Braverman?

Dr. Braverman & Dr. Ben-Nissan
"When I came to see Dr. Braverman with my cataract causing poor vision in my right eye, I hoped that after the surgery, I would be able to see as well as I did when I was younger. To my surprise, with the ReZoom lens I can see better and clearer. Not only can I see at distance, but I am reading the newspaper without glasses. Thank you Dr. Braverman for giving me my sight back!" Gayle Katz
"I do not have special words, other than "thank you" for giving me my sight… for the very first time! Since birth I was legally blind in my right eye and close to "the same" with my left (good) eye. Glasses could not even correct my vision good enough for daily tasks. Now at age 59 I literally have a new vision of my life. What a "miracle" for me. Life for me is so full of new possibilities." Charly Rossin
"It's a miracle!!!! It really is, and I want to thank Dr. Stan Braverman for giving me 20/20 vision on both eyes. I see better now than I ever saw with my contacts. I highly recommend this procedure to all my patients, friends and family." Dr. Meir Ben-Nissan, Optometrist
"Before surgery, I couldn't see because my cataracts had gotten so bad. I found myself staying home a lot. After my first surgery, I opened my eyes and I saw immediately! The colors were amazing. After my second cataract was done, I could not believe how beautiful everything was! It was like everything was new! With these upgraded multifocal implants, I see and feel like a kid. I am blessed to have Dr. Braverman as my surgeon. The office and surgical experience were wonderful." Anna Ross
"I want to thank you for taking the time to explain the Presbyopic Lensectomy procedure to my husband and I. I felt at home and that I am important to you. I can call and ask you anything and you and your office staff are there, no matter how busy. I am so very glad that I had it done. It has opened up a world of complete freedom for me. At school with children, whether on the computer or reading, or outside at recess, my eye-sight is great. No more foggy glasses in South Florida, Wonderful. Waking up and not reaching for my glasses, amazing. When I look into my eyes and feel young again, an extra bonus. I love you all." Rose Allbritton
"As an optometrist, I am very critical about the surgical skills of surgeons to whom I refer my patients. When it came to my own eyes and laser vision correction, I trusted that same person, Dr. Stanley Braverman...His surgical precision and expertise corrected my vision beyond my expectations. I had enjoyed the vision contact lenses and glasses gave me, but my laser vision correction gives me the improved quality of life that they could not." Dr. David Rouse, Optometrist (Past President of the Broward County Optometric Association)
